Terms of service

Last updated: January 2025

1. Agreement

By using KouLi ("the service") you agree to these terms. KouLi Ltd ("we", "us") provides practice and feedback for speaking; we do not provide professional, legal, or medical advice.

2. Use of the service

You must use the service lawfully and not misuse it (e.g. no harassment, impersonation, or attempts to compromise our systems). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for what happens under your account.

3. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the content you create. By using the service you give us the rights we need to operate it (e.g. to process your voice and show you feedback). We handle your data as described in our Privacy policy.

4. Our service

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible. KouLi provides practice and feedback only; it is not a substitute for professional coaching, therapy, or advice.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or to the extent permitted by law).

6. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We will post the current version on this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
